The Producer/Musician Also Announces
New Full-Length Solo Album Coming Spring 2012
After announcing NYE shows with the New Deal and Brothers Past on the east coast (Baltimore and Richmond, respectively), Eliot Lipp has also just announced a December 30 slot at South Lake Tahoe’s Snowglobe Music Festival. The festival boasts a lineup featuring some of the electronic scene’s heaviest hitters; Lipp will join the likes of Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob, Tipper, Thievery Corporation, Big Gigantic, and Yacht, among more than 30 other artists. Also just announced, Lipp will tour alongside BoomBox this January and February hitting several Southeast markets. See current tour dates listed below. Brooklyn-based producer/musician Eliot Lipp recently released How We Do: Moves Made (October 4, 2011 / Old Tacoma Records). How We Do finds Lipp “On the cutting edge of beatwork.” (urb.com) The album pushes out fresh electronic music that reaches back to the golden age of American Soul, and “Eliot Lipp absolutely nails this marriage of sounds.” (StreetDate.Radio) Lipp’s seven-year strong discography includes releases for the Eastern Developments, Hefty, Metatronix, and Mush labels as well as his own label Old Tacoma Records, named after his hometown. Unlike the typical Old Tacoma release, which atypically pushes future frontiers with artists Dark Party, LEO123, Mike Bubbles, and Sir Charles. Old Tacoma recently released Malbec from Samples as well as the self-titled debut from Lagos, a collaboration between producers Radius and LEO123. Look for Eliot Lipp’s first solo album in three years to be released in the early part of 2012. The complete list of current Eliot Lipp tour dates is as follows: www.eliotlippmusic.net ###
